What is a literature review?

its own. Much more than a simple list of sources, an effective literature review analyzes and 
synthesizes information about key themes or issues. 

What are the steps?

Types of research...

Research Methodology includes:-

i- Experimental -- most conclusive of all methods
                        -- dependent & independent variables

ii- Correlational -- cause and effect 

iii- Causal comparative -- determines the cause or consequence between group of people

iv- Survey - obtains data to determine specific characteristics of a group

v- Ethnographic -

vi- Historical

vii - Action research - must alert with the group focus to overcome the problem
                                - always reflect and test

viii- Case study - qualitative or mixed method research

the best topic that i believe to choose is something that is related to our personal experience..basically been working as a teacher for about 8 years helps me to understand this problem better and I hope this research would be useful and beneficial to young learners out there...lets learn English..

I always thought that reading a journal was hard.. This task actually helped me to read in a correct way and understand journals better...

Been thinking a lot about my research problem...and finally decided to change my topic....Well..i didn't really change the topic...but make it more focus as what Dr Teoh said that our research problem should be more specific and focuses on certain area.

So instead of ~ To study the effectiveness of collaboration method in the teaching of English language to enhance speaking skill among the young learners... It would be...

To study the effectiveness of drama approach in the teaching of literature in ESL classroom to enhance speaking skill among the young learners. 

 So next step is to resend my research problem...and find good journals for reference..

Settled task 1 with the submission of my research problem and questions.. its about The lack of young learners’ participation in speaking activities in English Language class.

After been teaching for about 8 years.....this is one of the major problems faced by my students...having this opportunity...lets help them out

I am supposed to think of the type and the title of my research. Its kinda hard because I am still unsure about what to focus on. I have thought of several topics..but still thinking..
